Welcome to the newest L.A. Co-ed Club team:  7 FIGURES

(You may have heard of “The new Co-ed team” or “the team AJ’s putting together”.  Yeah, this is that one.)

(Sam’s mock-up design which probably wasn’t meant for public viewing, but I can’t help myself.)

And this is just me being bored at work.

TRYOUTS:

The first tryout was a great success. 45 players came out to the Rose Bowl on April 24th.

The 2nd tryout is on May 8, 10AM-1PM at the Rose Bowl.  For players who showed up to the 1st tryout, it will be invite only to the 2nd.  Those invites will be coming out this week.  The 2nd tryout is open, however, to all who did not make the 1st tryout.

The field is near Parking Lot I, just West of the Aquatic Center. It’s called Brookside Park. The parking lot is off of N. Arroyo Blvd. The address, for mapping purposes is 360 N Arroyo Blvd. Pasadena, Ca. 91103.

There is already a core group of players for this team.  So tryouts are just for a handful of male and female spots.

SCHEDULE:

May 22 - Practice
June 5-6 - Cal States
June 26 - Practice
July 17 - Practice
August 7 - Practice
August 14-15 - Chico (attend if enough numbers interested)

TEAM PHILOSOPHY:

TRUSTING each others’ COMMITMENT to the success of our team.
Demonstrating that commitment through being fit, having a joyful and positive attitude and doing your best to play your best.
Building UNITY and FRIENDSHIP through communication and the understanding that this team does not see fun and high performance as mutually exclusive.

  1. Who else is excited for the 7 Figures vs. Metro scrimmage that’s bound to take place?

  2. Jeez, already inciting discord Goat? Maybe this can be a Westsideish vs. Eastsideish.

  3. There is a 5K Autism walk at the rose bowl on the 24th at 10am. That’s going to be difficult.
I REALLY want to try out but I’m also doing the Autism Walk.
