Note: If you have not registered beforehand, please do not show up at the fields on Saturday and expect to be put on a team.
LAOUT is proud to be continuing the St. Pat's Hat tradition started by Mo in 1995. St. Pat's is a coed hat tournament (each player signs up as an individual and is assigned to a team for the weekend). You must pre-register and pre-pay. Please note that this is a 2-day tournament. If you only plan to attend one day, indicate this on your signup sheet.
You must be a UPA member to participate. If you are not, you need to deal with that. Go to http://www2.upa.org/membership
When: Saturday & Sunday March 19-20, 2005. Games begin at 9:30 am Saturday. Please arrive at 8:45 to get your shirt, meet your teammates, and warm up.
Where: Because of the rain we are moving the tournament to Venice Beach for definitely for Saturday, probably for Sunday, so leave your cleats at home Saturday. There is a chance we'll be able to play on grass at Balboa on Sunday if the rain stops.
Format: 12 coed teams. Games will be played with 5 men/2 women on the field.
Accommodations: There is some floor space available for out-of-towners. See the relevant section of the signup sheet. The Carriage Inn Hotel (818) 787-2300 is close to the fields and pretty inexpensive.

Attire: T-shirts will be provided in a different shade of green for each team. Please bring white and black shirts also because some of them greens are hard to tell apart! It's especially cool, though not required, to play in a green hat.
Refund Policy: Full refund until March 6. If you withdraw after that, but before March 10 you might get your T-shirt, but probably no money. No guarantees after that.
Details: Registered players should arrive at 8:45 AM Saturday morning so you have time to sign in, get your shirt, find your team, and warm up before games start at 9:30. Bring a water bottle to drink out of (we'll provide the water), a white & black T-shirt, sunblock, and your fun self...
